Let us give thanks for:
the vast open spaces of North America, with their diverse resources and landscapes; may they be preserved, appreciated, and used wisely
those who were its original inhabitants – the First Nations and the Native Americans
We pray for:
Churches facing new challenges continue to boldly bear witness to the gospel in rapidly evolving multicultural, multireligious, and secular contexts
Indigenous peoples, in their long struggles for survival, land, and their rights; and for the healing of wounds and reconciliation with those who came after them to continue
