Theme: The power of witness and the unity of faith
The Geneva Fast Day celebration on September 11, 2025, brought together numerous Christian communities from diverse cultures to share a time of fellowship. Rooted in the history and tradition of the Canton of Geneva, this event offered a special opportunity to reflect on the value of fasting, the importance of prayer, and the life-giving and vibrant action of the Holy Spirit.
The gathering was marked by a rich cultural experience and a spirit of fellowship that was particularly appreciated by the participants. Many expressions of faith were shared in a spirit of mutual respect and encouragement, reflecting the diversity of the Body of Christ present in Geneva. Many emphasized how this shared time was a true source of blessings, strengthening the spiritual and collective dimension of this Genevan heritage.
We warmly express our gratitude to the Anglican Church for its generous hospitality. Their availability and openness ensured the smooth running of this event and contributed to the atmosphere of fraternal communion that emerged.
The witness of Jesus Christ remains alive in our canton, historically recognized as a land of blessings, revival, and reforms that have profoundly shaped the Christian landscape. Continuing this momentum, TEAG is committed to fostering cooperation among communities and promoting significant events that unite, edify, and inspire.
